I haven't talked about Gomez Peer, but I've been a member for about a year. Gomez Peer is a program that you run on your computer, and uses spare CPU cycles and bandwidth to analyze websites. You get paid monthly based on the number of minutes your computer is busy analyzing. A quick search on Google shows they've been around for at least 2 years.

While I've been a member for so long, I never really let the client run for more than a couple of minutes at a time. I recently set up a home server, though, and now have the client running 24/7 on it.

The end of March was the first month I hit the $5 payout minimum, so I have payment pending of a little over $7.00!

Just thought I'd share some good news with everyone.

In the Bux.to world, I haven't heard anything about my money, and just found out that the minimum cashout for standard members is now $50. I personally think that will be the end of new members on Bux.to

NeoBux and BuxP are slowly reaching the minimum cashout.

I'm stopping Neobux again, once and for all. I got about 15 referrals w/out spending any money, but it just takes so much time with very little return. It's not worth it to me. I'll keep clicking until my refs are gone, and then Goodbye forever, Neobux.

BuxP is still working out nicely for me, though. I just bought 5 more referrals, bringing my total referrals to 6 (a cost of $8.64). We'll see where this gets me.

To continue earning money on Buxout, I'm following the following strategy:

Click on as many ads as I can (This is very important because my earnings depend on the number of ads I click per day)
Replace any referral that hasn't clicked in the last 18 days. (2.5 weeks)
Purchase more referrals using cashout/buy the first chance I get. (Never Convert balance - This costs too much)
Once I have 500 referrals, upgrade to premium.
Constantly reinvest 50% of all earnings to gain more referrals and maintain premium status.

There is a Firefox Greasemonkey script that I worked on that is useful for finding out information about your purchased referrals.

I've recovered all of the money I've spent on NeoBux. I haven't cashed out the last bit yet, but I will in a few days.

As it is now, I would have been better off not renting any referrals. I would have a $7.28 profit if it was just me clicking.

I've got <10 days left on most of my referrals, so hopefully I can become profitable in that time.

I haven't made any profit with NeoBux. I've spent a lot of time on it, and I just seem to be playing catchup. I've disabled autopay, and will continue to click until all my rented referrals are gone.

I might put some more money into neobux. I originally put $10 in and cashed it out just a couple of weeks later. I should have just used it to buy refs and extend the ones I had.

I havent bought anything in a while. I've just been recycling and extending what I already have.

My strategy is:
- Make sure all of my Refs avg 2.5. If they don't, I will recycle them.
- Make sure all refs have 30+ days before they expire

I'm thinking about making a rule about only keeping refs that have clicked within the last x days, but I don't know what x should be. I know I'm a great clicker, but at some point im sure I will be taking a vacation longer than a couple of days.

I haven't really been able to get to the Bux.to main site. I pretty much gave up clicking on ads, and haven't had a chance at all because of the site being down.

I might start clicking again. Still no sign of my money, though.

Neo bux has been working great, though. one thing I learned, that I mentioned before, is to turn on auto-pay. I didn't do that and ended up losing some referrals.

Last week I was able to buy 10 more referrals, and I plan on being able to do that again this week. I can only buy once every 7 days, so I'll be able to buy some on Tuesday assuming I hit the $3.00 mark in my account. I'm going to keep this up for a while and see how much I can start earning.

I will try going back to providing updates of my earnings, but I will summarize Monthly.

Ideally at some point I should be telling you my spendable income, but for now I'll just summarize by telling how many referrals i've been able to gain.

I've been sticking w/ neobux. One thing I suggest is to use autorenew on the referrals. This charges you a very small amount when each ref clicks the first time of the day. Assuming the clicking ref clicks at least 2x a day (when you are a regular member), you will profit.

I didn't do that and ended up losing a lot of my referrals.

I got bored one day (read desperate), and decided to give neobux a try. I invested $10 and just broke even today (actually, it should have been a few days ago, but I reinvested some of my earnings on more refs - $3 worth). It took 24 days as a standard member to break even.

Here's what I've learned so far:

Neobux vs Bux.to

Processing Speed: NeoBux is significantly faster than Bux.to with everything. I bought refs, and that transaction was immediate.

Earning Potential: Bux.to wins here. As a normal neobux member, you only earn $0.005 per ref click vs Bux.to's $0.01. Thats 1/2 of Bux.to's.

Referral Purchases: Both have their good and bad. Bux.to, you pay once and have your ref forever. With NeoBux, you only rent the referral for 30 days. They do have an automatic renew that lets you keep your refs, and you only pay for them when they click, though. I'm currently not using this, but it is something to consider.

Neobux also lets you rent refs with your balance. This is really nice, especially considering the cashout times with Bux.to.

Your Activity: You can keep earning on Bux.to as long as you log into the site every now and then. Neobux only lets you earn when you click. This is annoying because I do take breaks and vacations and it sucks to not earn anything for the time im gone.

Payments: I cashed out with Bux.to on March 3rd. I STILL havent seen any money back. I just cashed out my (slightly more than) $10 from Neobux, and I had an alertpay email in less than 1 minute saying I had new funds. Neobux wins here, no competition!

Conclusion: Too early to tell, but it might be worth giving Neobux a try. Now that I'm even and am not risking any money, im just going to keep reinvesting my profits.

I'm finally getting ready to post my spreadsheet. While it's not the best all around tracking tool, i find it useful.

It's pretty easy to use. All you have to do is input what you've spent in the red box, and then in the account balance, put it what your current bux.to balance in.

Hit update, and the rest of the fields get are filled in based on past data in the form.

You'll see the value in the today's earning box is automatically put into the corresponding amount box on the right.

Note that for skipped days, you will manually have to enter 0 in the amount box.

You will most likely get a security warning from the document. This is because of the scripts associated with it.

Tips: A Reflection on Bux.to

It's 73 days into this experiment, and I have to say I've had quite an experience so far. Before I post my updates for tonight, I thought I'd take some time to let everyone know what I've gotten so far.

I started this activity at the end of January. I came across Bux.to while looking for a way to make some extra cash online. I am a student with a little debt and I was looking for a way to help ease that anxiety.

I joined Bux.to, and very shortly after (about 3 days), I gave into all of the hype and bought a premium membership with 100 referrals for $139.00. I am glad to say that I have recovered that money several times over, in theory.

My original thoughts were that I would earn $10-$12 each day from those referrals. That happened at the beginning, but now I'm earning between $3-$5 generally. This makes sense because some referrals just give up and stop clicking. If my original estimations were true, I'd have $730 - $876 in my account now, instead of $405, but $405 is NOTHING to complain about.

Along the way, I have learned several things about this type of income

There can be great fluctuations in income. Some days I've earned $50, some $0. It's pretty crazy and it's all up to luck
Things require patience. No, I didn't just learn that, but I am reminded of it every day when someone comes on the Bux.to forum or posts on their blog that Bux.to is a scam because their payments are delayed. I am informed and have kept up with it, so I know my payment will be late. This leads me to my next point.
Information is important. Keeping up with what is going on is always a good thing. Not doing so would be the same as not keeping track of your investments, and having no idea about how well or poorly they are doing.
Bux.to becomes an obsession. I wish I would've known this earlier. The day after I invested, I couldn't sleep because all I thought about was how much money I could make. This thrill lasted almost 2 weeks. Now, I still think about it, but not as much. I initially started out saying Bux.to only took about 20 minutes a day to deal with. While that is true when it comes to clicking ads, I spend much more time on the forum than that.
For the amounts I am earning now, it's not worth my time. For all of the time I've put in, I could have gotten a real job. I suppose I do have fun with this, and it is Easy work, but in reality, I could have $400 in my hands right now. Thats not to say that in the future I won't be making more. In fact, I hope to make a lot more. Don't take this to mean that I don't think Bux.to is a valid source of income. It's just not something I would do for my primary income.
Money in my account isn't real money. Right now, 73 days in, I am still down $139 from the money I invested. Once I get my payment, that will change, but until then, I have nothing real to show.

So, you can see that I am much more informed than when I just jumped in at the beginning. I hope everyone enjoys reading this blog and people find it useful and insightful. I am sorry most of my posts lately have just had my stats with very little to no content, but I am incredibly busy with school.

1. Some changes have been made in the forum. Legitmate users will not see the difference.

2. AlertPay continues to slow us down. Every 2nd or 3rd page load it appears "Server Error in '/' Application." Seem they have problems with the load. 90% of emails we send to their support they don't response. 80% of the time pages return with "Server Error in '/' Application."

Daily averages are still decreasing, but they do look like they are maybe leveling out.

I figured I'd share my strategy for what to do when its time to pay taxes for all of this. (I am in the US).

Save ALL receipts for purchases made through bux.to or reg.net. Keep these and have them handy when it is time to file taxes. These can be deducted as business expenses.

Save ALL earnings receipts (eg. Alertpay notifications). This is taxable income (minus fees, I believe).

Remember to set some money aside for paying taxes. It would be terrible to have 10,000 earned in a year, and no money set aside to cover the taxes.

This is important because if you don't report your earnings, you are committing tax fraud. If you are using the card and depositing that money into your bank account, remember that there are laws requiring your bank to report deposits larger than $10,000. If you have all of your proof, it shouldn't be an issue, but its best to be safe.

I don't know the rules w/ earnings going on your prepaid debit card. It might be worth calling payoneer or an accountant to get more info. If you do, please report what you find. Payoneer is a US company, so there is a chance these deposits are reported.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS IF YOUR EARNINGS ARE <$400 (see http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=115043,00.html)

Again, you should double check this stuff w/ an accountant when the time comes, but keeping these things in mind will help when that time comes.

$7.4875. It's interesting that the stats seem to only be updating every other day. Hopefully this will get fixed with the new script whenever it comes out.

Here are my stats for today.

I do find some things about my referrals to be very interesting. My purchased refs are just about to hit the 300 views mark, while my oldest direct referral is in the 600s (and they are about 10 days newer than my purchases) My newest direct referral is at 118 as of now.

I can't really complain, but i find that spread to be interesting.

Also, I haven't been watching the forum very closely lately. I was wondering if anyone knew of news regarding the new script. Last I heard, it's just a wait and see situation.

This site includes the fees, which seem a bit high for me. It is cheaper than Alertpay for high valued amounts, though.

$9.95 for first time card activation
$2 per load
$3/month for maintenance

It is claimed that the processing time will be about the same amount of time as buying refs & premium (2-5 business days).

In comparison, once you are forced to become a premium Alertpay member, fees per transaction are 2.5% + $0.25

If you already have the card, its cheaper to cash out using the card if you are receiving over $80.
If you don't have the card, (and say you are just cashing out once), the magic number is $488.

Also, remember to keep enough on your card for the $3/month fee, or it will be suspended.

I cashed out this morning, just as I promised. I have a countdown on the right that shows an estimate of when I will receive the money.

Today was a disappointment. I only earned $0.7250, while people on the forum are talking about their stats catching up. Hopefully that will happen for me as well.

As far as the weekly update goes, I am again sorry that I can't post my graphics. My main computer had some ram that died, and the replacements are in the mail now.

I averaged $3.0143 this week. It looks like I am still declining.

I hit my cash out goal today! $250 in my account. I will cash out tomorrow morning.

I am having mixed feelings about bux.to lately. I've had premium + my refs for 29 days so far. Based on my estimates of earning $12/day, I should have $348 by now, so I am about $100 behind where I thought I would be.

On the other hand, I have $250 from a $139 investment in ~ 1 month, so thats a nice return!

I haven't seen any resolve with the stats delay. In fact, the user 'support' on the forum told us

There is no stats delay.

Additional, I repeat: We do not guarantee for clicks nor for certain income every day.

All I have to say is, what the hell?? We were told numerous times that there was a delay and we would get all of our clicks back. This is very disappointing to read. That means that either 1) my referrals all decided to stop clicking at the same time, 2) Bux.to lied about giving me real active referrals, or 3) The stats delay has been fixed but I haven't seen the results.

I'm hoping it is 3, and the results are coming soon, but that's just me being optimistic.

My plan now is to purchase 100 more refs once I get the money deposited in my AlertPay account, but when that day comes (~45 days), I will see where things stand and if the stats issue has been resolved. It may just be time to move on at that point.

Today would be my first negative review, but i left it as neutral because I still made a good deal of money this month.

I'm curious to see responses to the comment above about there being no delay.

I missed 2 days in a row. That was unplanned. I havent had much of an update, though. I've made about $7 since my last update. I will have more details tonight.

The stats issue hasn't been resolved for me, yet. This is a major disappointment. I believe this should be their top concern. If the stats issue isn't resolved by the time I get my money, I will most likely not be reinvesting in Bux.to

There is an update on the forum addressing some important issues:

1. In order to improve forum's performance and stability, some changes has been done. Guests are now required to login to view and join discussions in the Protected Forums (General Talk, Support & Technical Issues, Suggestions, Non-English and Off-Topic) while Announcements, Success Stories and Advertisers will be left open for free view along with Graveyard

2. Some changes on the admin side. With the new staff changes, our support system will be improved. Expected to get your responses within 24 hours after making a ticket as more staffs are now involve with the ticket system. Live chat will be online more often, we're hoping to make it online 24 hours a day.

3. Regarding Bux card again...just talked to our coders, they said they already corresponded with the relevant people in order to perfect the API and should be ready today or tomorrow when thorough testing is completed.

The first point isn't that big of a deal to me, but the last two are good news. I know they are behind about 14 days on payments, so maybe the staff change will help them get caught up. Also, the Bux.to card news is pretty exciting. I'll be looking forward to that option this week. I will still be cashing out via Alertpay, though.

This should be the new SQL server being added, which I hope fixes the stats problem.

1. New SQL server migration I talked about in the previous update has been moved from Monday to Thursday (tomorrow). Expecting slow repsonse/page loading and even down time but this is normal for the process.

2. Again Bux card..coders are doing multiple projects, API still being intergrate and test for full functionality before public release.

Hopefully that means the stats will begin correcting themselves soon.

Also, a heads up: There is a pretty high chance that I won't get to update this tomorrow. If that is the case, I will post what I can on Friday morning.
